Fable 2 had a fun little combat system but a story that was really kind of terrible. The first Fable had a much better overarching story, more interesting lore (IMO) but was much more limited technologically.

As an Iron Man movie and one that wasted the Mandarin AND Extremis, Iron Man 3 was a debacle.

I was going to write a response to the others in this thread but you did a pretty decent job touching on the biggest point: It was 2,000 years ago in a patriarchal culture. Congratulations, you called out the fact that a religion that came from a patriarchal culture was patriarchal in organization as well!

Similar reason for not buckling up

Some writers actually played up that aspect of him. The problem is most just had him get annihilated, regen, and keep coming because that was “cooler”

I bought those books on Comixology. Haven’t had a chance to get to them but I’m excited to do so. I’ve heard nothing but good things.

Well, that’s a little apples to oranges since no one knew he was a clone when he started as Spider-Man (to my recollection at least)

Well the sales bear them out really. They seem to be doing pretty well by resetting things constantly and altering characterizations. I don’t personally like it (at all) but at least I have 40 years of their stuff that I generally like so I can’t complain too much.

The modern day stuff for Assassins Creed is a good explanation for memory jumps and what not, but it was a bad decision they shouldn’t have stuck with.

My biggest complaint about Black Flag was that it had Edward go over to the Assassins. It was better when he didn’t give a damn and it was all just happening around him. But no, they had to come in and muck up that clean story.

Never underestimate Mark Millar’s ability to make everything suck
