Cuban here. You don’t know what you’re talking about. I got news for you. First of all, the guys driving tourists around? Those are “regular” guys, hustling to make a buck. But there are a crapload more of them out there in private hands. Young men want a car, like in any other culture, and will put a lot of sweat

I rode it through the tunnel to Habana del Este. My cousin that lives there was dying to ride it, but his wife didn’t want him to. He snuck it in when we were there.

Bless your heart. You must live in a divine place where there are no bad guys and the guns only shoot rainbows and unicorns. It is not paranoia if they’re actually out to get you. Well, not you, exactly, but everyone.

Came here to say the same. This wasn’t unpleasant at all. Grande was silky smooth, and Miley, whom I have never considered a singer as much as a performer, did fine by me.

I think my residual is like 29K in a year and a half. Gotta see what the market is at the time and the cost for certifying it. If I can swing it, I might keep it. It’s not perfect, but it’s an awfully nice car.

While that generation is one of my least favorite 3’s in the looks department, unless you’re going to pony up for the 435 GC, I think you’re spending a lot to get a bit. As sweet as my 428 is, and it’s sweet indeed, if I had a nice 2009 335, I’d have to think long and hard to getting into a new car payment.

As a former GC owner, I had an opportunity to take it to the same twisties that I have a variety of BMWs I’ve had (and have). It acquitted itself quite well in the turns, and the transmission (auto, sorry, wifey’s DD) and engine, which was really clunky around town, settled into a nice, predictable drive train.

Grandadbod here.

This. I painted constantly when I was an E-3 and below. I swore when I got out I wouldn’t touch a paint brush again. Then I bought a house.

“Polarizing” would be a good word.

I think her voice is endearing, while others find it annoying. It’s such a part of her character. It wouldn’t be the same if she said, “Jay” instead of “yay”.

Seriously dude, stop trolling me. You said you said five words. One thing I’ve learned in my career is that people lie all the time. Even when they don’t need to or when the truth would save their ass. They also mis-remember like crazy. They swear this or that happened, and when they are shown they were wrong, are

Ok, I’m done with this circle jerk. You’ve come in contact with cops that treated you in ways you didn’t like. Maybe they were assholes, maybe you were the asshole. Either way, I’m done trying to be reasonable with you. Laterz.

Yes, that people such as yourselves don’t look at media coverage, whether Fox, MSNBC, or in between and think you’re getting the whole story. People allowing the media to form their opinions instead of thinking for themselves, merely relying on it to do their thinking for them is the basis for so much of the acrimony

Your bias and hate towards the police are clearly fucking with your reading comprehension.

Re your first paragraph:

By the way, Stevie, I worked patrol for ten years in a predominantly black district. You know how many thousands of suspects, of all descriptions (but mostly black, cause geography), that I said those words to, who complied, got arrested, went to jail, all while being treated with dignity and respect, and are alive

I’m sorry your interactions with police have been bad.
