OK, never done it myself. I always remove the skin when I filet fish. I'll take your word for it.

I think even a sharp knife may have difficulty cutting through the fish's skin, which is considerably tougher than the delicate flesh beneath it. It makes it difficult to make a shallow cut when you have to press harder to cut the skin.

Projects with pocket screws need to be power driven. That's what cinches the parts together. If you're joining oak or maple, no problem. Go to town. But if you're working with cedar, pine, or other softwoods, an overdrive blows it out. Gotta still power drive it, but with a bit of touch.

This. I had a '69 Torino GT with the 351 Windsor, in just these colors. I sold it when I went in the service. MISTAKE.

My wife grew up in a conservative household where nobody EVER swore. She married me while I was in the Navy, and I had always, and still, swear like a sailor.

I do a fair bit of woodworking, and usually turn to my drill/driver for screws into wood. When I have lag bolts or machine screws, then the impact driver's the ticket. I'm sure that the quality of the driver counts as well.

That's solid advice, but I've found that if you need to avoid over-driving the screw, you're better off staying away from the impact driver. Ditto if you're working with delicate materials.

Meh, the one playing my audiobook. It's the first thing I've ever encountered that keeps my road rage in check. Taking a little longer to get home? More time with my book. Win/win.

Also, I think that women are more likely to take the impact of the cheating on the family unit than men do.

That's a great question. I can't come up with an answer offhand. It's likely that DV with the male partner as victim is under-reported. For sure that in my experience the damage inflicted by female subjects is much less than the males'. Scratches and bruises, mostly. Alcohol abuse plays a part pretty evenly in

I understand completely. One of the reasons I read the Jez is to gain insights into male/female relationships that may sometimes elude me. I don't condone cheating by either gender, and especially don't condone violence as a means to resolve issues.

But... you came off as a misandrist.

That one is more better.

Thanks for leaving my pedantic ass out of your fist shaking.

...by/buy.

Fair enough.

Well, if you have indeed been in the legal world as it relates to law enforcement, you know that a substance alleged to be a drug isn't a drug until the lab says it's a drug. So unless you think there's a wholesale conspiracy afoot throughout the entire criminal justice system, you need to go rewatch your Law and

Yes, I don't know anyone, or of anyone who has taken that stuff, so there's probably not a huge impact from them.
