Yes, I hated that episode. Like you’re surrounded by poo bags and endless garbage, and some women’s lingerie is making you “sick to your stomach?” They were so dramatic and ridiculous, and made him APOLOGIZE for it.

Yes, power through - after a few episodes they sort of zoom in and focus on a few characters you need to know. I will say I had trouble following the mining storylines throughout the season, but once they got into the romance stuff I was like K K GOT IT HERE FOR THIS
That episode was craazyyy! John List was so screwed up! IN THE BALLROOM WITH ORGAN MUSIC GOING??
Might just watch Addams Family Values instead
My best friend still routinely yells, “AND I’M VICTORIA MALCOLM”
Thank you, I thought I was missing something because this map showed me he WASN’T more electable but the original poster just seemed so confident...
Zeljko Ivanek - if you see them in stuff now, you shouldn’t have too much trouble, because Zeljko is like 10 or 15 years older and kinda looks it (sorry Zeljko).
I read it like 10 years ago and loved it. I’m so happy a ton of other people are getting into him now because of the musical, because now I can have actual conversations about Alexander Hamilton with people (whilst pushing down my “I loved him/this book BEFORE it was cool!” hipster jerk tendencies).
Don’t panic, everyone is right. He used to be married to Torrey DeVitto. They divorced a few years ago and he’s been with Phoebe Tonkin since then.
I think you might be overestimating the amount of knowledge your run-of-the-mill person (especially men, and especially those who reside in liberal states where abortion isn’t as hot a topic) has about abortion issues - they would call themselves pro-choice and vote as such, but most of them aren’t necessarily up to…
I watched the first season and it was okay; it has top notch acting and a lot of clever situations and funny lines. But some of it left me cold - a lot of it was wealthy white people whining about their unfulfilled lives, and I feel like we’ve seen enough of that on TV.
I feel like unsolicited dick pics are so much more prevalent than flashers, but i guess that probably has more to do with fear of being caught and the ease of anonymity. Ugh.
Can someone who has sent an unsolicited dick pic explain this phenomenon?* I’m being totally sincere because I don’t really understand it.
How were you the first to mention food? I feel like that’s the focus of funerals in any Jewish family. Eating is how we deal with the pain and sadness!
I <3 my sulfur cleanser, but yeah, I’ve had to designate a few towels as “disgusting forever sulfur smelling face towels” that I won’t even put in the wash with other stuff.
She’s been in front of the camera for awhile...and on stage quite a bit too. And her sister was on The Knick, as well. Hopefully the parents are used to it by now!
That’s why I love true, affectionate, amazing representations of women friendships on TV. Women who love and support and challenge each other without any catty bullshit. Including but not limited to: Broad City, Playing House, Grey’s Anatomy, New Girl, Parks and Recreation, Jane the Virgin, You’re the Worst. And of…
Yeah, of the current crop of GOP clowns, I think Huckabee and Rick Santorum are the only ones who probably truly care. Maybe Ted Cruz, I don’t know a lot about his Jesus fervor. Pretty much everyone else just does it for appearances.
Oh trust me, I agree completely. I was being sarcastic, and sort of anticipatory of a comment along the lines of, “New Yorkers are so cynical, always have to look for the worst in a happy story!” Trust me, I have seen more friendliness, graciousness, and generosity in this city than I ever did in the “normal” town…
