In Los Angeles I only see brown widows based on the egg sacs I see around my house. The brown widow egg sac is a spiky silk ball and the black widow sac is smooth. I’ve never seen black widow egg sacs in the 20+ years I’ve been here. 

Hertz EV rental sucks. I rented a Model 3 last fall when my car was in the shop and they gave it to me with a 24% charge. I didn’t hear back from Hertz even after providing horrible post-rental feedback. They wouldn’t deliver an ICE car with a 1/4 tank, so how is that acceptable? 

And with the Bike+ they could auto-program the resistance changes, seems really easy to make the scenic rides more engaging. I look forward to trying the game, my wife was selected for beta testing and it looked like a nice change. 

I still have my G1, it’s on a display shelf with real old cameras. I bought a 340 MB Microdrive to go with the G1, and that alone was around $300 in the summer of 2001. It was a great camera and great learning tool.

Regarding Auto-follow on the Bike+, you realize you can adjust it, right? If you adjust it to the top end of the resistance, it will continue following at the top end. If you set it at the bottom end, it will follow there, and it scales everywhere in between. I’ve had workouts where I start auto-follow at the top end…

Except that’s not how hard drive warranties work. They start from date of purchase, not manufacture. I have an unopened WD drive sitting here and its warranty expires 3 years and a couple weeks after I bought it.
