That bit was so, so sad.

It's a go-to when you don't want to figure out if other stuff on the menu's worth sussing out or not. There are a lot of beers I drink regularly not because they're amazing, but because I know they're uniformly pretty good, and I'm okay with that.
Yup. More than once, in different kinds of establishments, they've tried to talk me out of what I ordered.
The cake ones. The dough ones, glazed, are fine. But the powdered jelly taste like fried, too :( And I love a good jelly donut from pretty much anywhere else, ever.
Was her name Egg?
I wouldn't be surprised. I've had waiters and waitresses try to talk me out of rare and medium rare before. I've also had waiters— who took my order— try to hand me my ex's well-done and hand him my rare.
I'm a Massachusetts transplant from the Midwest and cannot, for the life of me, abide any of their donuts but the plain glazed. They all taste SO fried to me. Can't figure it out, especially because I don't have a lot of pickiness where baked good are concerned.
Do you mean that when it comes out, people are instantly more into comics, or when it comes out, people act like they know about the comics when they don't?
What?! Reading your own team's is the best. That's the part I am the most excited for each year!
Heh. Well, for what it's worth, I get why you said it. I also get why the kid would be crying. He's, if I recall correctly, far away from home, and that's a very "there but for the grace of God go I" moment. There's a lot wrapped up for someone watching a teammate go through that.
I didn't think anything in this horrible article could make me laugh, but "I LOVE YOU, BED. HOLD ME CLOSE." has me actually crying from laughing. Maybe just trying to deal with the awful.
At least you recognize that your view isn't necessarily a normal one, and you at least have a reason for it not to be.
The tiny Merlwyb minion is my favorite because when she runs, she runs as though her guns are too heavy for her arms to keep up with her.
It warns you that it's going to give you indigestion, but you still can't get out of the way in time.
Oh God, no. Interestingly, I have freelanced for a small (actual) craft brewery in the past, but I would not work for Miller. Ever.
I think maybe I don't listen to people in public. Which... thank God for that.
That's kind of sad, really, when you think about it. I fully admit to being a wuss beer drinker, and even I know better :(
The thing is, and for it to be overrated, people would actually have to be touting it all the time as some big thing. I don't think anyone who drinks Blue Moon (myself included) really believes it's a craft product or even top notch of any kind. It's just easy to drink, and sometimes, that's what you want.
What's the deal with the defensiveness? T&A in terms of gameplay bore and annoy me. Do they offend me? No. Nudity is nudity, it is what it is. But if I'm not engaged with the gameplay and the art style is a total turnoff for me, why stick with the game? Sure, people get too worked up about shit like this. They…
How is Michael Sam a distraction to anyone but the media? I've yet to hear a single player truly give a crap about his sexual orientation. Whereas if Manziel's an idiotic brat all the time, that's going to bleed onto the field over time. Hell, maybe not even over time.
