Taxes, health insurance, lifetime judicial appointments, military policing... we do lots of things in incredibly weird (also evil, profit mongering, usually racist) ways!

Thank you for reinforcing my belief that the average pop culture comments section has better film pitches than most Hollywood think tanks.

I think a lot 0f it has to do with so much of the customer base literally being children.

Perhaps now we’re one step closing to building the ROFLCOPTERS the early internet pioneers dreamt of.

So... this only makes sense, right? They came in, killed all the stuff they did not like, and going forward stuff they make is stuff they wanted to make.

Goddamn, I fucking hate every shit-ass word of that corporate-speak horseshit. Anyone who utters words like, “We’re really on track for a lot of asset value creation and free cashflow generation,” and “we’re coming from an irrational time of overspending with limited focus on return on investment,” shouldn’t be

It reminds me of a, maybe apocryphal, story of a nuclear scientist’s response when the Navy wanted to test the affect of an atom bomb on ships.

So they sacked the people responsible for the sacking?

“certainly questions to be asked and I think they should be asked.”

I look forward to the inevitable video of someone speed-running Elden Ring with one of these using only their tongue.

I find it kinda funny, that Shazam is supposed to be this all inclusive take on superheroes that “anyone can be a superhero!” but they all transform into beautiful, fully abled people...like all other superheroes.

No he will not!

We’re very pretty much on the same page, haha!

Yeah, I’m fine with it. If you’re going to fund subversive art, why not kick a few bucks toward a project that isn’t going to move the needle toward any concrete subversive goal?

But it still feels incredibly odd that the Canadian government would be funding a project that is explicitly in favor of a world where liberal democracy doesn’t exist (and is in fact undesirable)

I’m still pissed at him for denying us naked Ralph and Lizzie sneaking away from the devastation after turning back into real people.

Oh, this is that douchebag? I'm glad he won't be back.

that’d be gneiss

So, I don’t have to worry not able to see any night time scene again? Trying to defend your lack of cinematography knowledge by saying it’s a creative decision are stupid.

It’s probably born of a desire to crow about how many views the trailer got in the 24 hours and ring an extra round of entertainment reporting out of it. If it just drops with no warning, some people might not hear about it until a day or two later and thereby depress the numbers.
