Generally someone speedrunning a game will have played it to death already.

You say that, but if they do something like the 3DS’ glasses-free 3D, it could slot into some kind of headset for a budget VR option that wouldn’t even need lenses. Maybe run 1080 portable/3D and 1440 docked.

Come on man you’re better than this.

Except getting addicted to, say, Dark Souls doesn’t mean you’re compelled to spend thousands of dollars on copies of Dark Souls until you get the one you want.

The problem is that lootbox/gacha is an exploitative business model, designed to milk the minority of players with addictive/compulsive tendencies. In other words, it’s unregulated gambling.

Again, you’re envisioning a systems that “works” in some sense. What I’m saying is it *can’t* reach that point, because a system that concentrates wealth like that won’t be able to function that long.

Normalising the ftp-lootbox model isn’t egregiously shitty?

The problem comes when it’s not artists making these decisions, but their bosses.

That... makes no sense. A situation where most people can’t sustain their own existence is utterly unsustainable. Either the whole system will collapse long before it gets to that stage, or through some miracle it’ll get overhauled such that people genuinely won’t need to work.

It’s not just revisiting though, some of us still have substantial backlogs from older generations.

It kind of feels like people are trying to will a lawsuit into existence because drama means clicks.

ok, cool. I’ve seen a couple of headlines like “People can’t play the game” which had me wondering.

So does the Steam version *only* support dedicated servers, or does it have the smaller co-op mode too? And does the game have offline single-player at all?

It's just Castaway with zombies.

Whoops, I forgot about the TV channel that doesn’t exist in most of the world :P

A big problem was that it was, at the time, streaming exclusive; and thus the whole episode being shades of dark brown and grey with intermittent snow, it was a blurry mess to most viewers.

I think one of us got Kinja’d a little.

what she did was massive and insane, and the amount of people that seem to think what she did wasn’t that big of a deal is insane

That hasn’t been true since the one-two punch of the crypto boom and the semiconductor shortage. My 1060 costs as much to buy now as when I bought it years ago.

This question’s been answered with FF7R. It’s two blurays.
