Hasn’t it been confirmed that that’s Ubisoft’s company culture?

Sounds like something you’d hear in a Waitrose. “Put down the papaya, Fenyx!”

The environments are still pretty nice, the characters are pretty “Netflix cartoongeneric though.

I feel like “Turbo” is a subtitle

Valve tried that, it didn’t really take off.

Holy shit the conductor’s hair though

Nurse! He’s out of bed again!

I’ve seen speculation that the 360 and PS3 both suffered from the same issue with changing standards around solder, which also affected pretty much every contemporary laptop with a dedicated graphics chip.

I beat FF7-R earlier this week (thoughts below), so I’ll be moving onto something else this weekend. Maybe I’ll pick Darksiders Genesis back up, I was having fun with that before I shifted focus to bigger games.

I played it on WiiU and it definitely felt like an acquired taste. I don’t feel like I burnt out before beating the campaign, but I never had the urge to dive into the side-content. Hopefully the new one will feel different enough to stay fresh.

This is what we have to look forward to after the 90s nostalgia phase :P

I’m hoping that some of the older rereleases will end up on GOG, so that they’ll never disappear again.

The setting and combat were fantastic though. It was cheesy as fuck, but really fun.

Shrinking assets like this would likely involve changes to how they’re stored and loaded, so that would mean revamping parts of the code.

I know how I sound, and I hate the fanbase as much as anyone (barring maybe the writers): I’m just responding to specific takes that are predicated on a basic mis-reading - ironically the same reading the mcnugget sauce crowd latched onto.

This. I’m surprised more people aren’t noting this.

It’s the only film since the first that doesn’t retread the same setup. I wish it had gotten its sequels.

Honestly, I hope Wolverine and the X Men stay out of the MCU for a looong while. Even Spider-man was tired enough that the MCU skipped his origin story; and we’ve had almost twice as many X-films. They need to lie fallow until the taste is well out of our collective mouth.

Cool! Much as I love Nintendo’s controller gimmicks, that motion-controlled spin was horrible. Way too many of my deaths were on account of an accidental spin via my twitchy-ass arms.
