One note about killing Elites - it ALSO usually gets you a fast-travel point. So if you can, kill the shit out of any elite you can find and it will make future questing and exploration a whole lot easier.
My kingdom for a port.
God do I wish Astral Chain would have gotten around to doing something with its world and characters other than completely cranking the anime cliche dial up and up until it broke off.
I was one of those kids who didn’t have a memory card in the beginning of a console’s lifespan. I remember 100% Jak & Daxter in one day and getting to the desert in FFX another time and having to turn off the PS2 both times.
Next on the list: collect all the Dreamcast VMUs
Nice.
Wrong. Death Stranding was awesome.
Man, hearing Kojima say “one more thing” and then seeing the Playstation logo sent me through the roof... and then they announced a $70 version of a game I already own.
Speaking of mold punching, End of Zoe was the best DLC Capcom has ever made.
Oh yeah the boat...
I kinda think Heisenberg is the “Lucas” from RE7 of this game and sometimes I think he sounds like Nicolas Cage. In any case, after the 1st playthrough, I definitely am knocking off the Challenges with each New Game + to get that infinite STAKE magnum so I can plow thru those terminators. Rinse and repeat. I wonder…
This needs to be a pull quote for the front of the box.
For sure. I wonder if the re-release of Replicant will include some new juicy hindsight bits for people who played Automata. Replicant is low-key my most anticipated game of the first half of 2021, even though I cried and felt like I never wanted to start the game again the last time through Ending D.
True enough about other games. Replaying the Nier games is basically like playing the average New Game+, but with additional content to entice you. There’s a few extra sidequests in route B, and since you’re using 9S you get to see different perspectives during the times where the two are separated.
go back and finish nier till the end. (and hopefully that end hasn’t been spoiled for you because it’s truly A Thing when you see it.) I’m pretty sure once FFXV is done I’m going to finally go back and finish Remake to see what that’s all about.
If you finished it once, you didn’t finish it ;)
Welcome to Morning Music, Kotaku’s hangout for folks who love video games and the cool-ass sounds they make. Today…
Yeah, but on the plus side we can all go visit SeaLab and watch a few episodes of Chopper Dave, right?
