This is how I feel about Dollhouse. The best episodes of that show were the Epitaphs, and anything where Whiskey/Alpha got screen time. The reason is the world-building. The entire premise of the world falling apart because ______ used the ______ technology and people went nuts was incredibly intriguing, and I

You forgot about The End of Time, which happens at some point in 2021 according to Quantum Break, and basically unleashes timeless shifting beings on an otherwise frozen and jumbled world. Yay!

The Switch eshop has had a Mario makeover too.

I feel like they are doing this now because of the tie in with the Kingdom Hearts universe and the potential for a KH animated series in the future. SPOILER PROBABLY:

This is a side effect of the sheer hubris of Sora’s dodge mechanic in Kingdom Hearts. You can pretty much dodge the buhjeezus around most enemies in that game, and there are so many similarities between that system and this one that it takes a while to shake it off if you’ve just come out of KH3 like I did.

Though the weapon triangle still exists here. In that way it’s kind of like Persona Q, the battle has a set of rules that allows you to really feel challenged in certain situations. It’s also got the same “just got murdered by a strong enemy who got lucky in a dungeon and lost all that progress” stakes that P3/4 had,

It’s definitely where the Persona series was going, you can tell it was made between 4 & 5 based on the Tokyo exploration, super stylish menus (green and star-themed) and overall vibe. Very worth it, and that’s from someone who is a die-hard Persona fan and had absolutely no context for the Fire Emblem elements or

But the important qurstion is can I use my P5 save to start with a boost, like P3FES?! Some of us have kids and jobs and require sleep!

I played 1 (on 3DS) after finishing 2 and the whole sound track is straight up gold. That is to say, I'm really feeling it.

Interesting... [Furiously searches Craigslist and thrift stores for clipped cord or broken controllers]

Billy Hatcher. Like a weird Katamari game by SEGA. Loved the heck out of it. Remake!

I think a lot of people were put off by initially mopey and moody Squall after the Clouds and Cecils of the past. I recently went back and replayed FFVIII on the PS VITA and had forgotten how great it really is.

I fully support your massive nerd-ness. It could also be because I have this swirly chapter icon:

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles was a game I actually spent a lot of time playing alone, in my sad basement bedroom in my dad’s house after flunking out of my first year of college and coming home. It was just me, a bed, a tv, my gamecube, and that game. The Kumi Tanioka soundtrack still instantly takes me back to

I feel like the more interesting thing is why he was locked up. I bet that d-bag from season one who was dating his shrink finally turned over what he knew, and they found flipper and busted him for his hacking. They all but spelled it put at the end ofor last season.

My guess is that The Library is the place Carol is at with Morgan, it’s literally a library. There are also signs of recent survivors, and a neat line of executed people to the left of the gate when Morgan leaves to follow Carol. Seems logical that since it’s fairly close (at least in walking/casual trotting distance)

Yep. Tartarus Alarm for the win.

Definitely when I finally took down the Reaper in Persona 3 FES. What a stubborn bastard. I must've fought that battle a hundred times, but victory was oh so sweet.

Uh, yeah, it is. She was messed up and existed before him, she will be messed up and exist after him, and maybe even get some help. Maybe.

The first time I played Etrian Oddysey on my chunky DS I was reminded of the first-person text-based RPG my dad got us for our Tandy when I was a kid in the 80s. It was unforgiving, had no real characters I could identify with, and was generally less exciting compared to something like Downland (budget Tandy Mario).
