i’d still rather a bad movie come out than be famous for not coming out.

Word is also coming in that a ton of big names have cancelled their upcoming meetings with Warner Brothers. Turns out having a 50/50 chance of years of your life being arbitrarily snuffed out doesn’t make people want to work with you.

“Bullied” is a really weird word choice in this context...

Now playing

Norton talked about this a few years ago at the Bruce Willis roast, which is worth watching even without the jabs at Marvel. They let him go on way longer than anyone else, and he killed. It was also very moving towards the end.

Also REV., with Olivia Coleman and Tom Hollander is kinda special.

It definitely ‘feels’ like it’s missing that George Martin touch.

There’s a couple shots when multiple Beatles across different decades are on screen that made me wonder what someone like Spike Jonze or Michel Gondry could have thought up with all of that footage if they had this level of access and budget. This video just feels like Jackson is too duty bound to the Beatles legacy,

We also have Peter O’Toole starring in The Stunt Man.

Maybe as the ‘star’ that’s gone missing. The fact that it’s his ‘stuntman’ of all people that has to go looking for him just make it all the more meta.

...DAY FOR NIGHT?!?!

He already made that movie. It was called  Knight and Day. It was not good.

If there were a god, that recording would be over the closing credits.

Just a fun movie? Perfect!

My condolences to Morgan Fairchild, and Kathleen Turner on the loss of their son.

He’s fucking beautiful in The Whole Nine Yards. His nervous comic timing is brilliant, as is his slapstick.

This really is, after all, the best takeaway.

Goddamnit, you made me think about The Game.

I don’t care about AVclub’s ranking, I just love Fincher’s filmography. All I care about is him making more movies.

He’s one of the Daves I know!
