Yup. It’s told from the xenomorphs POV. Buncha face-huggers hanging out... all of a sudden a ship lands and they start getting pushed and prodded.

“Do you know who I am?”
Take it out of Police Pension funds. “Sorry, Officer Figpucker, but that guy you covered for a dozen times finally getting caught means no pension payout this year”, that’ll bring down that blue wall faster than you can say “Police Collusion”. ‘Cause that is the real problem, it isn’t just that individual “bad” cops…
Someone (wish I could remember who) wrote about an idea for making police carry malpractice insurance like doctors that would pay out if they are sued for on the job misconduct. If the officer has a bad record and the premiums become too high, time to find a new job.
It’s time we make cops write checks from their personal accounts.
I hope somebody snuck out a copy before it was scrubbed from the servers.
I look forward to the day Batgirl shows up on the bootleg DVD circuit.

It’s stunning how the user experience on this site gets worse and worse by the week. When I pull this page up on my phone, it reloads constantly (often in the middle of writing a comment, wiping out my progress), links to articles open external affiliates in new tabs instead of the article, videos play with sound…

So much of what makes the character work in that one expression.
I watched Dr. No for the first time a few years ago, having already seen almost every other Bond movie (there’s a couple early ones I haven’t gotten around to). It struck me the same way Citizen Kane did when I first saw it: “I don’t get what the big deal is.” Sure, Connery’s clearly a movie star with a great…
