I also wasn’t thrilled with C&D’s range test, where they drove each car an average of 75 mph over 100 miles on the same oval track to measure efficiency.

During my own recent drive of the Taycan, a Porsche rep claimed that EVs struggle over 70 mph, as their efficiency begins to dramatically drop off at higher speeds.
The results also showed the Taycan launched “harder” at 1.3 g than the Tesla could pull off, but while the Porsche was quicker at braking from 70 mph, the Tesla’s brakes won out stopping from 100 mph.
Exactly. I saw that and was going to comment. Taycan won that one too.
Ehhhhh... That’s exactly what it is, a bro truck. It’s bought by bros that are more interested in image and the jeep brand than a good truck for a good deal. Bros do exactly that. They spend too much on a truck because of how it looks. The people that actually want a good deal on a good, capable truck buy a different…
Same. It taught me how to be patient with other people because I know what it’s like to deal with an impatient person. He’s better now that he’s older, which helps. If on some rare occasion I do help him with something whether it be a house project or a car, it goes pretty well since I’m not slowing him down anymore…
I think my dad tried, but he’s impatient and get’s frustrated easily if you can’t read his mind about what you’re supposed to be doing. I think he gave up after a while. Lucky for me, I like to read and learn by watching videos so I figured out this whole wrenching thing on my own. Dare I say I’m better than he is...
Chuck E. Cheese guy would have had the cops called on him. That’s too sketchy for me to ignore. They objectively have terrible pizza, but not so coincidentally for this guy, there are a ton of kids there. I don’t even care if he really does like their pizza, he needs to stop going there. It’s a bad look.
Seems like NY can avoid a lot of issues if they continue to share DMV info with the federal government. The news is making this about licenses. I highly doubt the trump administration cares that much about licenses. It’s the info they want and seem to have good reason to want.
Agreed. While my comment above talks about what truckers want to do, lots of companies really hammer home the safety aspect of what they do. However, in some cases, what a company says they do and what they actually do can differ. The place my brother drives for is notorious for forcing their drivers to drive in…
And that was a HEAVY truck. Guys like this are the worst.
You’re truck was rotting away before your eyes. No one would second guess that choice.
Leave that shit at the door. He obviously hasn’t been called an idiot enough in his life because he’s obviously making bad choices left and right. Everyone knows if you don’t have money, don’t borrow money, especially at high interest rates. You don’t have to be rich or privileged to know that.
Oh jeez. Another one of these “I’m not paying more for repairs than I can sell it for” people. He needs to just fix his car. We’re not talking an engine replacement here. This is precisely the kind of person that falls into the used car lot trap. An idiot.
Also the union has limited power because if they push too hard for higher pay, companies can always find drivers that will drive for less money. Good drivers are smart, safe, and careful, but you don’t have to be any of those things to get or keep a class A. Lots of low skill drivers that will work for less.
Brother is a trucker. Fact is, lots of drivers don’t want a salary because they can make way more by the mile. Also most truckers hate the rest rules because they have no problem with driving overtired if it means they get that sweet overtime. Luckily there are regulations in place to curb this for the most part.…
Guys, some of the customers will get to ride a MOTOGP BIKE. Surprised not more people are talking about this. That is HUGE. It’s not even an old one, but a current spec race bike.
The wings aren’t that big compared to the bike so the chance of them being a sail is low. Also they don’t rip huge wheelies during a race. It slows them down too much. The front has to come up a lot for the wing to be angled up. It HAS to be angled up to lift the bike to counter the wing’s tenancy to push the bike…
But, yes, of course, OTA updates are the future and we should be grateful for it. Fuck. That.
As far as minivans goes, this looks like a pretty great option!! good thing I’ll never need it though. Well, maybe if I decide to get one as a track day camper/tow vehicle (for motorcycles).
