+1 for S&B Golden. The others are OK, but the first is still the best in my book.
I’m confused by your statement that “Golden is ‘unremarkable’” combined with simultaneously saying you “love S&B curry” when they’re the same brand — “S&B Golden Curry.”
I recommend stepping it up to at least “medium” for S&B Golden Curry and better still “hot” (which is still pretty tame) for a better flavor experience.
My Japanese curry technique is to just melt the bricks in boiling water (one cup of water per brick used) and add leftover meat to it that’s been chopped into small pieces. Stir occasionally for eight minutes and it should be ready to serve over white rice unless you want to thicken the sauce more. Works especially…
I’m guessing the VP of Johnny Walker has market research with women surveyed about their feelings for scotch.
It looks pretty close to what the character’s costume looks like in the comics, so I really can’t complain, especially without seeing what kind of color grading they’re going to apply. (I agree with another commenter that it would be sweet if they really boost the saturation when Billy is in Captain Marvel form to…
Maggie’s storyline is literally about her rejecting the daycare’s awful objectivist philosophy and standing up for the good of her fellow babies, and yet Cruz somehow thinks this is an example of good Republican values.
I guess they decided they wanted to silence those of us who kept asking for Ben Stone to be brought back. :-( (Ben Stone is still my favorite ADA in the franchise’s history.)
You’d besurprised.
I’m not familiar with these specific machines, but all the vending machines at my work place give you coins back via the change return if you put a bill in and cancel the transaction.
Eh. I would never serve “themed” cuisine for Black History Month (or Martin Luther King Day, or Juneteenth) just because the probable reaction from someone seems so obvious, but my ability to be personally outraged about this depends on whether the dining hall also does things like serve corned beef & cabbage on St.…
+1 Highly perishable items like milk and most other dairy products, raw meat, etc. should never be stored in the refrigerator door.
Hoodoo?
Right, I’m old enough to remember those days too (“Allow 6-to-8 weeks for delivery.”) And I am willing to pay shipping for things, but when shipping is literally more than the cost of the item (Blenheim quotes $33 for shipping a $26 case to my address), and I’ve never even tried the item before so I don’t know for…
Someone needs to bring back Golden Cockerel Inn ginger beer, dammit!
There’s also “lemon ginger” Diet Coke at freestyle machines these days. Obnoxiously they won’t let you choose it for regular Coke though.
I’d love to try Blenheim based on the reviews, but they need to get a better distribution network or ship at a more reasonable price. There are no vendors in any of the states I live in or visit regularly except Oregon and the only vendor there is in Scapoose!
Still, there is a place in the world for Canada Dry ginger ale: It remains a great non-alcoholic beverage on commercial flights—unoffensive, drinkable, the slightest notion of “bite” if just to settle my stomach, even if it’s a placebo.
Per the OP, it happened in China, so the TSA wasn’t involved.
