I mean, trying to remake a major motion picture, especially one in a major franchise, owned by Disney, is really really really stupid. But Rian Johnson directed three full length movies before this, only one of which I ever heard about. Kathleen Kennedy gave the 8th main Star Wars movie to some guy, basically.

I would think the current US Administration makes it very clear that just because someone is in a position of authority, doesn’t mean they deserve automatic respect. You earn respect throuch ACTIONS, and Holdo did jack shit until her sacrifice.

I wonder if they’re keeping some new additions to the roster a secret so they’ll be cooler when you find them in game. As it is, while I appreciate they’re giving everyone the fighter they liked, I feel like we could cut back on some of the clones in favor of new characters.

No, no it isn’t. There’s been study after study showing no correlation between violent video games and violence in real life. If a school shooter says his favorite game is Call of Duty or Counter Strike, that’s because EVERY teenage boy’s favorite game or games is usually a big budget AAA shooter.
Call of Duty is not representative of all first person shooters.

I’m not sure what CoD or Battlefield have anything to do with this? They’re explicitely team-based (sometimes free-for-all) matches where you fight the enemy team to win. Everyone is on more or less equal footing, aside from skill or being in a vehicle.
