Well, Destiny is pretty unique as a shooter. It’s the highest profile game that mixes RPG elements with shooter mechanics in that way.

To be fair, the A-10 is a tank-busting sledgehammer solution to the close air support problem, in a present where our troops are not fighting armored vehicles. The job as it is in a counter-terrorism role could be done more economically by a prop aircraft slinging rockets and bombs, or a helicopter.
