I don't know if she qualifies as the magical mixed race pixie, or whatever, but the decisions Cindy makes in this episode were so counter-intuitive and against her own people that her every action took me out of the story.

But not the writer of it.
Hence the '205-esque' suggestion, which is far more up WWE's street.
I don't tend to enjoy women's wrestling on the whole, but particularly the WWE version of it. I give it a chance every now and then - I think SummerSlam was the last match I watched in full - but every time I do I find myself ridiculously distracted by the huge mops of (fake?) hair the likes of Sasha and Charlotte…
Indeed, it was presented as a Schindler refeence more than anything.
No as long as Pastamania is running wild.
1991, WCW's Superbrawl 1 : Teddy Long trying to interfere on Butch Reed's behalf, but the chain is caught and used by Ron Simmons.
'There’s a reason Felicity was the show’s breakout character for the first few seasons'.
It definitely took in Scotland and the some Southern US as part of it's tour. London was conspicuous by it's absence given it was the place she said she was from.
I'd alter it slightly
Once Riker grew that beard Guinan knew to hide all the bottles and peanuts.

Sorry, I know , I was trying to move the odour blame onto the meat in my last post (unsuccessfully, clearly).
As a non-cheese eater I'm with Grant all the way on this one. I bet it was a finely crafted thing and tasted delicious to those of you who love your cured meats and cheese, but to those of us who aren't into those flavours, the odours (I'm racking up the British spelling points here) would have filled up that car (?…
You've confused 'outside of Italy' with 'in America' there, I think?
Sure, and there's nothing to suggest the writers wouldn't have botched a Canary/GA relationship the same way they did with Felicity, but it definitely seems like they could have assessed the situation between seasons 3 & 4 and brought Laurel back into the mix in an organic way (which as you say would have seemed…
But what does that effort achieve? Someone going out of their way to spoil a ballot paper deserves the same scorn (or lack thereof) in my book. A non-vote is a non-vote, whatever its form.
It seemed a good call at the time but that kinda bears out my point, in my opinion - initially all the chemistry was Ollie/Felicity, and the move away from Laurel made sense…but by the time they offed Ms Lance the fanbase had turned on Felicity and warmed to Laurel…if they had stuck to their guns and had a slow burn…
The two references to Rao in S1 were pretty organic - at Astra's funeral, where Non asks if Kara knows the prayer, and in the finale when Non says something about joining Astra in Rao's light.
That's how you get Olicity, surely? If the writers have a plan they should follow through on it, not react to fan reactions which change on a whim.
