Long story short, Iquique has one of the biggest harbours of Chile, most of the imported stuff comes to Chile through there. For some weird reason, the entire city is tax-free region, like a giant duty-free, so heavily taxed stuff (Like cars) is way cheaper in Iquique than it should! The catch is that you can’t take…

-The strange law that allow to import freely japanese cars to Chile, only legal within the city limits of Iquique

-Living in a brazilian VW van in a country that is basically a long road
