Been saying this for years now. Crashstappen hasn’t changed. The only thing changed was he had a car that no one can come close to in the last 2 years, so no crashes.

Hey, I just picked up a Fisker Ocean for $30 grand off! Now I’m gonna get the missus a VinFast!
Agreed, this seems like a reactionary hot-take just to be edgy. I have a fair number of friends rocking plug in hybrids and full EVs, and the consensus is the cost per mile is much lower on the plug in’s than the full EVs. Additionally, the amount of time they’re running on plug in power for the PHEVs is quite high.…
while i am relieved to see Disney/Lucasfilms execs (sorta) stick their necks out, this also smells a lot like Disney trying to advance deflect all criticism of what may well be a truly awful tv show, so they can accuse anyone who dislikes it of being racist/sexist/whatever. (see also: Star Trek: Discovery, that awful S…
My favorite Confederate flag trivia is that it was never even the flag of The Confederacy.
For anything other than a short (i.e., one where I can get away with just the suit I’m wearing) business trip, I have no problem with checking a bag. I’ve never had bags lost, and I’ve never waited very long to check or pick up my bags. The modern overhead-bin drama created by all the “I will die before I check a bag”…
The Ars Technica piece is wrong. It’s an easy mistake to make, because it makes such intuitive sense: obviously, cost-plus would be super easy to make money with! But that isn’t actually how it works (you will absolutely lose your shirt on cost-plus if you’re thinking it’s magic money), and it’s miles and miles away…
To be fair, like all cyclists, they also intentionally create hazards around regular motortraffic too.
Talk about your Evil vs Evil stories. There is no good side on this one.
My initial thought was that this front does in fact look better than their recent designs, but it’s also still ugly. The interior is just pure awful.
“Avatar area inspired by James Cameron’s World of Pandora.” Meh. Frozen, Tron, Encanto, and many more would be more enticing for me.
Just take the excuse for being late for work? No, that’s not the answer either.
LCs are rare, sure. But it’s not like Lexus is an exclusive brand. They are one of the best selling luxury brands in the USA. And the LC has a Lexus corporate front end, so it passes a regular old Lexus. You could definitely walk by one in a parking lot and never notice.
Title is fire, gave me a good laugh I needed today!
If the fuel injectors don’t fit, you must acquit...to the dealership-
The reality is, any mechanical component can be made pretty easily. I wouldnt be scared of any of those. Its the electronics going wrong that would worry me. What happens if your instrument cluster fails? Or your motor driver? Those will be the hard to, if not impossible to, recreate parts on this.
I don’t remember who it was who said this, but I read a suggestion we should lay empty clothes and shoes on the ground outside and then hide after the eclipse, just to mess with the Rapture believers. :-D
I am going to be unpopular opinion puffin today and think that this looks like shitty maintenance.
I am really, REALLY curious how someone else wearing a mask affects him.
