There’s that one huge one in Jean, NV (on the way back to LA) that has a White Castle inside. Or Eddie’s World that’s kind of in between Vegas and LA. But definitely as another person said, the best reason to stop at them is the clean restrooms and EV charging. And the White Castle breakfast sliders are pretty good.

The Ioniq EV is pretty nice. Functional if a bit spartan, as you’d expect from a cheaper EV. Was definitely my family’s lower choice after the Volvo and Volkswagen. But the Ioniq felt on par with the the Tesla M3 in terms of luxury, but better built. That’s not a compliment for the M3.

CA doesn’t require a permit. Just a safety test that’s easier than DMV written tests that you can take that day at the gun store if your’s happens to be expired.

Always most generous package for the 1st round. If you make it through and then get cut in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, then the package is usually much less helpful.
