Yeah, thats what these criminals are missing. Parks.

I have no real opinion one way or the other about Hank Williams Jr. His little rant about Obama was literally the only time I’ve paid attention to him outside of the MNF intro and I cannot name any other song he’s ever made (though, in all fairness, that also applies to 99% of musical artists out there, including…
What a myopic view of politics in general. What was Obama? No less kabuki theatre than Trump. An effigy for upitty whites to pat themselves on the back for how nonracist they were.
So Lora who was not the rightful owner of the car, got in and tried to drive it away despite the cops yelling at him to stop and banging on his door?
The only problem I see is that they paid him a settlement. He should have been thrown into prison after he got out of the hospital with nary a penny.
Does that include hipsters?
I’m a white bread and mayo eating MF’r (well, not the bread anymore because: carbs), but even I can see what’s up when Obama was called an “elite” for putting expensive lettuce on his burgers and someone like Trump, who literally tweets from a golden toilet in the sky, is a “man of the people.”
Unfortunately it isn’t all that special. Looks like there are millions of them.
Maybe he cares if your problem is non-white people living on your street and trying to send their kids to school with yours.
I disagree.
You’re using normatives. The reality is that good doctors can’t be dumb. Can’t even be average.
I don’t understand why you’re getting so personal about this. If this is how you interact with someone who agrees with you on the merits of the policy, how could you ever even walk past a conservative without spontaneously combusting?
You can argue that until you’re blue in the face. It won’t change the reality that in the US, no matter what sunshine people are willing to blow, many, many areas already face physician shortages. Try to find delivery OB’s in a lot of places...it’s a nightmare. So, recruitment issues (you can look it up, I’m not just…
Single payer is a great concept, one that I would advocate if I had any confidence in the people designing the plan.
The WORLD has decent health care largely due to innovation by for-profit medicine in America. Our investment in medications and medical devices, along with stringent testing and safety requirements, is what has driven medical advancements world-wide for decades.
Also, don’t you guys offer private plans for those who can afford them?
Except there is no evidence that more doctors would reduce costs of care. The evidence goes the opposite way. When more doctors open up shop in one area, they provide more care to increase revenue. They may do surgeries earlier or become more aggressive in cases where results are questionable.
I’d be fine with single payer as long as 1) my Med school loans are reimbursed... think $200k to $300k is the average
Dunno about that. My dad, a pediatrician, was # 2 in his class at a very highly regarded school. My cousin, also quite high in his class, had so many deployments and such horrific injury that he’s now a GP.
Not sure how that applies to medical education. Free college education where? What type of school? State? Private? Will the schools have a good pre-med programs, up-to-date facilities and faculty? What’s the mcat average?
That’s actually not hyperbole. You can’t cap earnings without reducing the cost of medical education, malpractice protections and practice overhead. You can bet the house that the migration to single payer won’t touch any of that shit.
