I am genuinely confused by that someone could read her initial post and not think that her explicit words mean what they say. It wasn’t metaphor or implicit signalling as implied by Isha, because thankfully the model went through the trouble of explicitly clarifying what she meant.

There’s no brand on earth that wants controversial viewpoints attached to it. That being said, it sounds like L’Oreal didn’t do their homework before bringing her on board.

It is insane that Bergdorf had to explain that she didn’t think all white people were inherently personally racist,[...]

You mean like when he wore his cop/pigs socks and every butthurt cop worshiper shit their pants over it?

I’ll preface my comment by saying I support peace and equality, and personally don’t care much if an athlete decides to sit for the National Anthem.

Come to Philly, I’ll unify my fist with your face, fucker.

Apparently they didn’t like him enough to re-up his contract though

LOL

I don’t think there are many liberals who would have been soothed by Trump being convinced to say the right words, even initially. Many pointed out on Monday that, despite condemning white supremach he promotes it. And many more have pointed out that all the Republicans condemning Trump themselves promote white

How would one shame someone for ideas they are proud of? That is like a communist trying to shame a capitalist for being pro-wealth. Since shame is internal, you can’t actually shame someone unless they believe what they did is shameful.

Easy as that, huh?

Maybe society should have a think as to whether putting up statues of dead people at all in public places (on the public’s dime) is a worthwhile endeavor. Maybe the time for that kind of glorification is now passed. Maybe museums of old statues should be instituted so those who are interested can go and have a look

She should have been asking about the mgmt program. She’s the one who isn’t looking out for the future. It’s ridiculous to stay in a starter job with no plans to move up.

Agreed, this is literally the definition of a starter job. It’s a waste of human potential for ANYONE to work a Taco Bell for ten years.

Well, atrophy is what Tillerson is doing to State; I am uneasy with including him among the “adults.”

Active harm based on political agenda rather than any real attempt to consider if it’s the logical policy—is what Pruitt, DeVos, and Perdue are doing.

Not just rich. Even poor donate to charities.

It says they better get their goddamned act together, is what it says.

Agreed, which is why I included “in background and in temperament.”

Pruitt, DeVos, Perdue, etc are all there to get their pet objectives done. Grill them on Meet the Press to justify their actions, and they’ll fall back on political platitudes rather than independently-researched studies. They don’t need outside

Centralization, sure. But at the hands of government that needs upwards of 86% of every dollar to sustain itself and other non-poverty related programs or having people work with charities that can give 86% of those dollars to the poor?

I personally think that Bannon will be around until he himself decides to leave because Trump won’t/can’t fire him. If fired, Bannon could retake control of Breitbart (or start something new) and, out of spite, turn it into a anti-Trump site and I believe that Trump has been made very aware of that, possibly by Bannon
