Fyi, $30 for a single makeup item is unfathomable when you’re relying on Medicaid and food stamps just to get by. Splurging means getting the $12 stuff instead of the $4 stuff, in my world.

$30 is really cheap for good foundation....

As someone whose skin is just shy of translucent, I perked up a bit when she mentioned trying to be inclusive of pale skin tones as well, but when she started talking about undertones and how makeup other than foundation/concealer often comes in colors that are only flattering when paired with certain skin tones, I

Yes, as a super pale skinned girl I’m chuffed that there’s a cruelty free range that might have a shade for me. Also as a super pale skinned girl, I have a hard enough time finding a good match for my skin tone that I can only imagine how impossible it is for dark skinned girls, so I think this range looks pretty

There is a line of makeup brushes called Spectrum and they are excellent.

I want to live in that still. Diamonds on. Champagne in hand. Titties out.

The Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Gold! It’s better than the Charlotte Tilbury and so, so cheap.

I want to look at this but I’m saving all my makeup coins for the Pat McGrath release.....alllll of them

Looking at that range of foundation makes me so happy. If you want to wear makeup, you should have the opportunity to get the makeup that looks awesome on you.

I definitely just bought the Killawatt highlighter in “Girl Next Door/Chic Phreak” and I am. obsessed. with. it. It’s SO velvety and shimmery, but not full on glittery. You can use it on your cheeks, eyes, shoulders, cleavage, etc. And the foundation is TO DIE FOR.

Oh, wow, this is awesome. I knew she was offering a ton of darker skin tones, and I expected that would be the main draw of this line - which is fine! - but I also expected that none of it would be relevant to my “Porcelain 105 looks like a fake tan on me” pasty skin. But no, looks like there is something for me, too:

Same here! I have tried so many foundations that just never matched my skin tone; I must have spent at least a few thousand dollars since I started using makeup in my teen years. (My current one costs over $40 and I buy it at least 2-3 times a year, soooo...)

It will be interesting to see how this develops over time. I applaud her insistence on making shades available for women of all colours. However, I assume that some will sell better than others and I wonder if the wide range of shades will eventually get trimmed down to what sells the best.

The foundation shade range is impressive. From the pictures is looks like they took different undertones into account as well.

Got the email from Sephora this morning and was immediately impressed with the range of shades in the foundation. Even if there was nothing else in the line, that alone would be enough to make it great. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a wide, inclusive range.

Holy shit, those highlighter duos. I didn’t think I would want anything from here since I already have a massive makeup collection and spend most of my Sephora time turning my nose up at things, but I want alllllll of those duos. They would be fantastic for days you just want a hint of color and sparkle on your eyes.

I am delighted over the 40-shades of foundation, and also (selfishly) thrilled that the line will surely have something flattering for my weird hazel eyes that are the same colour as hers.

Just saw the line at Sephora (online). I barely even wear makeup, and I want All The Things. Super pretty.

“24-karat yellow-gold shade that really pops on the skin.”

But can she sing “Goldfinger”?
