There’s a difference between ‘incapable of carrying around’ and ‘would rather have something lighter’. I’m perfectly capable of carrying my old, heavy MBP around with me, and yet I’d still rather have something lighter, because it’s easier.

The Surface may go toe-to-toe with a Macbook Air but its real strength is in out iPad-ing the iPad.

Summary : this ipad/laptop replacement can’t do the same shit as a £3k dedicated editing rig. Figures. I use a surface pro one at University and it does everything I need with ease. I imagine this is better still. If I had the cash, it would’ve been a day 1 buy.
