This seems something that’s really open to abuse. It never specifies that you have to cancel your verizon plan (if you guys see something, tell me), so if you’re on prepaid or something potentially you could ask a friend on verizon to try this plan, give them a phone or use an unlocked phone, and basically get a year

TAY REPRESENT!

BLASPHEMY

Have you played the other games? The flowchart was actually one of my favorite parts because there it actually adds to the experience, being integrated into the game. It’s surprisingly nice. It’s here, but you don’t have to use it, you can still continue and skip just like you did with the originals.

Yeah, that twist

Having everyone get some representation is nice because everyone has someone at least they can identify with, which is nice. It’s not a big deal in the grand scheme of things imo, but it’s a choice the creators made and not necessarily “diversity for diversity’s sake”. There’s no reason to get upset about it, IMHO.

The vita is not a hypothetical, nor is it dead: It’s a fantastic platform for retro games, JRPGs, VNs and indies, and it’s still getting a lot of support for those. This year alone brought us games like Trails of Cold Steel and Steins;Gate 0, it was fantastic experience owning a Vita, and I play it a lot more than

Uh. Someone explain. I don’t get it. Is this Japan just being Japan?

And for Basketball fans:

It’s not pocketable but it’s definitely portable. Ever used a small tablet?

Ever made a flowchart for something like this? It’s hard because there’s too many variables, too many aspects in the game to visually map up. Even trying to map out for game mechanics for a boss, there’s just too much. You’re asking for the impossible.

Uh you’re just kinda reaffirming the article, not contradicting it. Nobody’s saying this is good QA, they’re just saying the QA testers played the game too well.

Geebs, Y U no put Trails of Cold Steel II on the header? I am disappoint.

Yo Zarnyx! Definitely will do when done, but yeah, Excited! Glad we’re getting it early :)

I haven’t gotten that far but I’ve enjoyed the game quite a bit thus far. Like you said, it has it’s fair share of issues and it misses the charm of the games it tries to emulate but it’s definitely one I appreciate. Thanks for this, it’s great to see more thoughts from fans of the genre. :)

*Cringe*

Gets me every time. ;-;

I’d love to be a part of Kotaku, but I’m not sure obscure visual novels is the type of competitive gaming you’re looking for. :P

Don’t own either of the current gen consoles but I’ve been seriously debating on getting the One S because of 4k + 4k blu ray + HDR support. It’s gonna be a killer media machine, and it’s the cheapest 4k blu ray player on the market.
