Dubious peice of hardware? This is the moto 360 made by Motorola, a well known smartphone company, and it's been called the flagship of smartwatches for months now. If anyone thinks this is overpriced, or not worth your time, I encourage you to read the article I wrote for Ani-TAY last week about why you should fund it. I hope it convinces some of you to fund it, and if not, at least teach you a bit more about the current state of anime.

Charles Martinet is awesome! I saw him at a panel at a convention (SacAnime if you were curious) and he was hilarious, entertaining, and just a cool guy. I'd totally watch a series made by him :)

It's easy to develop for, and anybody can burn off a disk without modding. It's nice to have a retro like game on a retro console, and seeing the indie push for the DC makes people happy. LONG LIVE THE DREAMCAST!

I'm pretty sure it's ment to be seen all at once. Hell, it's just a 2 hour video on daisuki.

It doesn't really have the same gameplay as a VN. It's a game made off of RPG maker that is linear and is story focused, not really something VNs are known for. There's no choices, and it's not presented in the way VNs are. According to the devs, it's an adventure RPG, but I'd just call it an adventure game. Great…

The DS is also region free, so you can buy last window off of amazon and have no issues. It's more of the same.

Pretty solid list, one I'd agree with. I would have out Steins;Gate instead of VLR because if you've played 999, you are probably going to play through VLR. 999's probably my favorite game, and I'm a VN nut, so yeah. GO AND PLAY THESE!

Not exactly, but you can act pretty assholish in some games and you'll be sent to bad ends. Think about it; A custom personality means there would be a new script for every interaction, making it almost impossible to script and make a cohesive story because the personality would mess with character interactions.

Check out my Beginner's guide to Visual Novels, it will probably help. I never really found anything that was exactly like Persona's segments because those are focused on friendships and are a supplement to a main story while most VN's have to focus on a main story with the character, but the closest I could think of…

I loved To The Moon, it's one of the reasons why i'm such a Visual Novel addict. I'm really looking forward to this :D

It's one of the best 3-5 hours you will ever spend playing a video game, and I hope this one is too.
