Plus, you have to be strong to pick up a horse and put it down a few squares away!
So are internet comments questioning the physical status of professional athletes.
My wife briefly raised Grayson as a suggested name for our child. I asked her if we were planning on becoming much wealthier and much more WASPy in the next 5 or 6 months. She said no, so I informed her we could not name our child Grayson.
Well, firstly, when you cause bodily harm on someone it doesn’t matter what a behavioral psychologist says about you, you are responsible for your actions at age 18. Unless of course he is not of sound mind (lacks competency). Second, when diagnosing people, especially if using say the DSM we look at criteria that…
And yet 99.9999 percent of all “kids” manage to get through college without kicking other people or raping somebody
This is bullshit man. 21 year olds should be treated like adults. Don’t lower your expectations for everybody just because some 21 year olds are shit heads
I don’t barf at the points people are making.
It’s hard to believe that a college sports coach, who is built by society into god like status as a paragon of virtue and leader of men, is actually a sanctimonious and shallow asshole who will basically do anything necessary to win games a bunch of 18-22 year olds play.
Grayson by far. It’s the Grayson Allen of names.
Is there any more punchable face in all of college basketball than Grayson Allen? Players, I mean. Coach K doesn’t count.
Ok, just debating this with Mrs Zoidberg. Which name is worse, Grayson or Peyton?
I agree with this take. Unless you are running perpendicular to the sideline, you shouldn’t get any special protection. Good players will run the sideline knowing they can draw the flag or gain a few extra yards if the person doesn’t go full speed.
No thats bullshit. If a player is still in bounds (as you can clearly see that Cousins is) it means he is still advancing the ball. If thats the case the defender at that point has every right to stop that advancement. If a player wants to give himself up that get out of bounds (which he had ample time to do)…
Nah, fuck that. If you want to play the sideline tiptoe game you can’t whine about it if someone puts a shot on you. You want to go out of bounds, go out of bounds. Quarterbacks shouldn’t be rewarded for getting cute with that shit.
It’s possible, though very unsatisfying, to believe that the zebras made a defensible call in flagging Newton but not Murphy, and to also believe that on the whole, Newton’s gotten screwed this year, and that the NFL risks being down a superstar if it doesn’t protect him better.
There has to be gray area when it comes to a QB as a runner, and when the QB slides, and where the tackler was in relation to the start of that slide has to matter.
Yes, a downside of subjectivity is inconsistency, but the alternative is ... what? If you want to leave ZERO room for judgment on head contact, then even grazes where both the defender and the quarterback successfully avoided major contact and even the potential of a concussions but where defender grazed the helmet…
(reads explanation) (eyes glaze over)
I think right now, President-elect of the United States, but other than that . . . nope.
