That was just my feeling at the time, I didn't think the movie taught me anything new or at least in a different way

I think having 2 Icemen, 2 Angels and 2 Beasts running around is a bit stupid but maybe that's just me. And I prefer adult Jean Grey

Well if you really think bringing back the 60's X-Men was a hell of an idea then rock on man, you do you.

Well man, what would you have done in that situation? Would you have invited them inside for tea and talk it over? I imagine you would have hated Captain Phillips then (hell of a movie btw)

No celebrity is worthy of beatification, period, even in a semi-ironic way. I like to believe that Bill Murray is appreciated because he seems generally nicer and more authentic than most celebrities out there. And we can't never have enough niceness in this fucked up world

When he showed the gun to Cate Blanchett?

Malick is definitely not for everyone. I went to see The Tree of Life with a friend…I thought it was ok, he absolutely loved it. I get it, life is messy and fleeting and we should appreciate all of it before it slips through our fingers, I didn't exactly need a movie to know that but I can understand why people like it

So allegations automatically mean wife beater? Boy we're sure working fast these days

I think someone is a crazy Alien fan

Why? I'm genuinely curious, I don't understand why people say they love Rushmore or Tennenbaums and hate Life Aquatic, seems odd.

Garbage 101: Transformers (all of them), Fantastic Four, Green Lantern, Pink Panther remake, Cheaper By The Dozen, The Lone Ranger, Mortdecai, That's My Boy, The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, The Last Airbender, What to Expect When You're Expecting, Valentine's Day…

I obviously get the hate for Dumb and Dumber but Prometheus? Could that be because you had enormous expectations for that movie, in a "classic as Alien" type of way? I thought it was alright.

I still do not understand why people "hate" The Life Aquatic. Hate is a word that should be reserved to Adam Sandler or Kevin James or Michael Bay. Hating a Wes Anderson movie? C'mon man, be real

That's not a counterpoint, that's an opinion.

David Bowie guest-starred on Extras way back then. If Bowie approves, I approve.

Gone in the sense that no writer is using her these days. She was last featured on the awful Cable & The X-Force, in a minor role.

"The Book of Humblebragging, Mumblescoring, Rejecting Superhero Movies and other Funactodes According to the Duplass"

Depending on how broad your definition of "melodies" is. I listened to Bjork's last album and I felt the same way. Maybe I'm just old, which is ok.

Am I the only one who's getting increasingly annoyed at the Force Awakens marketing onslaught and the media's obsession with it? I even made the decision to not watch the film until January because I don't think I wanna join the mass hysteria.

AC is one of those bands that I've tried to get into after sites like Pitchfork claimed they were the greatest thing ever and I couldn't and felt that I was "losing it", as Homer Simpson once uttered. But no, I didn't lose it…call me old fashioned but I enjoy proper melodies.
