You’re better off letting it burn and getting a replacement through insurance. I’m not sure how many guys you know who have cars like that, but I’m fortunate enough to know quite a few. And most all of them would damn near rather die than have a car that was on fire and then repaired. Talk about killing the value

Yeah that’s not really true. It can be. But not always. See Porsche 991 GT3.

In fairness, Porsche had fire problems with the 991 GT3 back in ‘14 when it was launched. Every single one had to be recalled and the engine replaced.

Damn. Sign me up for all of that. Thanks!!!

Dude thanks so much. As it turns out I’m moving to Orlando in 2 weeks!!! I’ll go scope it out sometimes, Naples isn’t too far away.

Alot of the audience for Jalopnik may be a shade on the younger to be able to appreciate the amount of power the F1 had. For reference.

Me too because as much as I loved Road and Track when I was a teenager, it doesn’t really interest me much anymore.

Both. The answer is always the McLaren F1.

I’ve never seen one in person and I hope to one day. I remember it fondly from when I was a teenager in the mid 90's and it was out. The occasional article in Road and Track were some of my favorites. Amazing car.

These are bucket list places to visit in Italy. No question. Well done.

LOL

Agree. Its one of my favorite cars of all time.

I can’t believe the guy in Atlanta’s wife has the gall to sue. The guy was probably drunk. And even if he wasn’t, he was being a dick heckling a player. The height of the railing had nothing to do with it. He was a moron and karma got him. Lol.

I can’t believe the guy in the stands didn’t give him the ball back. Fuck. What a tool.

Yeah. At first glance they are tough to discern between...

Well can’t blame him for that. But that is pretty funny. I saw a Ferrari that had something similar happen once. It was in Charlotte NC. Evidently she stopped and bent over slightly and he lost it. Haha. That was how the story was told to me anyway, I did see the car on the curb with a nice dent in the front

Cool... thanks for the info. :)

I know everyone loves a good LS swap (LT in this case), but for me I’d want a E30 to have a proper BMW engine in it. One that it would have come with from the factory even. :)

a 1997 Camaro SS would indeed have an LT engine. Some actually came with the LT4 good for 330hp (Corvette engine) not sure if they just randomly threw them in there as a nice suprise or how you identify which do. 1997 was when I read every single car magazine out there and I don’t recall an option package where you

I agree. I want a silky smooth German 6 cylinder in there. That car is not about going fast.
