I definitely see what you’re saying.... and would agree if there were other circumstances.

Thank you. Serena’s bad sportsmanship record actually speaks for itself.

First call may have been ticky tack, but second (for smashing her racket) and third (for threatening the judge's livelihood, among other assorted mouthing off) were absolutely warranted.

You do know that Serenas coach admitted he was in fact coaching her?

Nice to see a Serena fan be objective about this. Her coach tried to coach. And apparently has for years. She could have made her "rather lose than cheat" speech to him, years ago, and then nothing would have happened. Don't start no stuff won't be no stuff.

And I guess you guys Snapchat each other all the time?

Everything that happened in this episode happened in front of a lot of cameras. Every single one of her actions, and every action of the umpire were out in plain view. You don’t need to be a BFF to make a judgement here.

She is a legend in the tennis world, no one

I thought the worst part was, “Say it! Say you’re sorry. SAY IT!”

It looks a little like Buttheads Dillhole dance.

Osaka was awesome and Serena doesn’t have that meltdown if Osaka isn’t blowing her off the court.

I should be used to how badly this site carries water for it’s fave people, but it still irks me how biased this place is.

“You owe me an apology,” she said. “I have never cheated in my life. I have a daughter and I stand for what’s right for her. I’ve never cheated, and you owe me an apology. You will never do another one of my matches.”“And you stole a point from me,” she said. “You’re a thief.”

It was coaching. It was lying to call it a thumbs up.

I DEMAND YOU APOLOGIZE TO ME.

Tell your husband that at ESPN’s website, he can watch a video of Serena’s coach admit that he was trying to coach her.

The coach admitted it was coaching.

I’m a Serena fan and was so embarrassed for her today. Yes, it was unfortunate the ref called the coaching violation, but it’s technically the rule. Save the “it was only a thumbs up...I have a daughter! (??)” nonsense. From there on out she decided to run her match into the ground. The ref had to give her the next

Everyone in every sport ever has gotten a shit call. It is human nature. Serena is so damned arrogant and honestly very stupid. Instead of just sucking it up and doing what she does best, she threw ANOTHER fit about something that was entirely her fault.

So now she is down 0-2 in the hot headed reaction race. What

Serena is a bad sport. It is what it is. You need to be almost pathologically competitive to succeed at the highest levels of sport, so it’s not that surprising. However, considering her position in her sport (and her age), it might behoove her to act like Federer, not Johnny Mac.
