I mean, good for the fans. I didn’t actually get a PS4 until mid-2017 (In anticipation of Spider-Man, I’m a huge fan of the character and it looked good) and didn’t get to HZD until after Christmas that year. If that came out any year other than the year BotW came out, it would’ve been my game of the year).

I hate these guest appearances in MK games. Mortal Kombat has a large library of original characters to draw from, and these non-MK combatants always feel oddly contrived and completely wasted on what would be better reappearances from past characters.

Basically, all the other Fighter’s Pass characters were third party with unique gameplay. So people were expecting that. To be fair, there’s really only ONE Fire Emblem character in Smash.

You just gotta accept that Sakurai’s 3 favorite game series are Street Fighter, King of Fighters, and Fire Emblem.

So which are there more of now: Fire Emblem characters in Smash, or Western-localized Fire Emblem games?
