From a PR perspective, Lozzle is absolutely right. Thread after thread and meme after meme, the game was the laughing stock of the internet for weeks, which is very harmful to a franchise these days. Other games may have had a rougher technical launch, but this was one the roughest launches from a marketing

Deus Ex and now Mass Effect. Tough time to be a singleplayer sci-fi RPG fan.

I prefer to think of Fox/Sony as the evil uncles who “borrowed” Mom’s Beatles records and now won’t give them back.

Dear god, yes. Having to play through sidequests with a browser tab open just so I could have some idea where towns were was the pits.

I really appreciate the reply and the offer. I wish I could enjoy multiplayer. I really do. As it is, even gaming with friends online is less an enjoyable experience and more a nerve-wracking exercise in self control. It’s a tough time with so many AAA games moving towards persistent online and seamless multiplayer,

Any worthwhile way to experience the story outside of the game? Both the writing and the music sounds right up my alley and calls to me as a Final Fantasy fan, but as someone in a lifelong battle with social anxiety, MMOs or any online multiplayer are just a non-starter for me. I feel bummed knowing that I’ll likely

Does anyone else feel like rough sex, choking, bdsm, etc are less of a niche scene or a kink and more of a cultural phenomenon at the moment? After five years of relatively active dating, I can count on one hand the women I’ve seen who weren’t into being choked. Even had one girl leave in a huff because I wouldn’t cut

I would LOVE an achievement system on Nintendo’s platforms. I know there are people out there who are violently and somewhat irrationally against them, but I’ve found achievement collecting to be a fun meta-game that keeps me interested in the games I play and provokes me to explore or try gameplay mechanics I may

He’s like the Michael Cera of game design.

I would do many naughty things for a Xenogears remake. Yes, I said gears.

Try as I might, I just can’t get too excited about that Metroid Prime 4 announcement. The announcement could mean as much as they have a working prototype or as little as “we just decided today that we’ll do this when we get around to it.” Same with the core Pokemon Switch game.

I want to believe, but until the Switch

Wish those of us who skipped the Wii U (the majority of gamers, apparently?) could get to play Xenoblade Chronicles X as well, even on 3DS. It’s always a shame when great games are held hostage on underperforming consoles.

I’m excited to see this, but I have to ask: what does seamless online add to this franchise other than potential microtransaction revenue for Ubisoft?

Is this a Windows Store exclusive? Isn’t the vast majority of the AoE playerbase on Steam?

Horizon, Uncharted, Bloodborne and Persona are a pretty significant few, homie, and that’s only naming the cream of the crop.

Hercules world...yet....again....

I’m not typically a violent person, but YouTube’s reaction shot screengrabs make me want to punch something.

Well...poop. I sold Pocky & Rocky 2 AND Final Fight Guy in a big SNES lot along with the entire Mega Man X series years ago. Got maybe $150 for it on eBay. I also sold Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG and Earthbound separately, but I figured they were worth more. $80 for Chrono, a bit less for the other two.

I definitely relate to the arcade anxiety mentioned above, particularly regarding fighting games. I loved the characters and backstories of fighting games growing up, but bigger kids would literally shove me out of the way the moment I was losing in order to let a “real” gamer play.

I once dated a girl who simply stuck her tongue into my mouth during kissing and just...let it sit there. She thought open mouth kissing consisted of a guy sucking a girl’s tongue like a lollipop. She was one of the sweetest individuals I’ve met, but quite inexperienced. We both learned a lot during that relationship.
