@MattSTKC: thats a myth. Reading an LCD is in no way damaging to the eyes, though it can tire the eyes of some people. Eye care experts recommend taking breaks for just a moment or two every twenty minutes or simply blink more (to moisten the eyes...)
@Canon7D-Fanboy: no. eInk is B&W, this is color. This is an LCD screen.
so what exactly is the difference between an iSight camera and a FaceTime camera?
@Nitesh Singh: but its backward thinking. Its like saying 'hey, those new CD players that have been out for several years now are OK, but why wont the company make a nice wood grain turntable stereo with an 8-track player?
@Nitesh Singh: They sorta did that - they call it an iPod Touch.
@Spatula: The air is an incredible machine, if your needs fit what it does - offers ultra slim and light portability.
@hawkeye18: technically, very few Apple laptops have had 'user replaceable' harddrives - the composite macbooks and the current unibody macbooks/pros have had a 'somewhat' accessable drive area, but certainly for years before that it wasn't.
Incredible ad - and boy do I remember the days back in the mid 70's when the airlines had really strict rules for the stewardesses - they all looked like the girls in this ad and treated passengers like royalty. It was expensive to fly (it is practically free these days, compared to what a ticket cost back in the mid…
@thenewperson: thats for sure. Its like an ad for a television set blasting people for being zombies in front of a TV. It just makes absolutely no sense.
@Darius1Roberti: then the commercial fails on that note, too. Getting the information faster just leads you into the next search or webpage quicker, it doesn't necessarily bring your nose up from the screen.
The second ad is hysterical - I love the bit with the shark and with the sexy woman in black waiting at her partner's bedside - that being said the point of the ads is incredibly stupid. As if you would get the windows phone and then NOT use it? Why not just have a phone then instead of a touchscreen smartphone with…
I have to disagree with Quentin - script-by-committee, increasingly stupid audiences and bad remakes of old TV shows are the death knell of cinema. If there is such a thing.
@Paper-Cut: yes, their food is - but their Christian-only hiring policy is shameful.
@ectocooler: due, congrats on the fiancee - ask her how she feels about you using the word 'methinks'. Her answer will most probably surprise you.
@ectocooler: Ecto, I totally agree with you, I think you're right on the money.
Neuclear powered? No, no no - this sucker's electrical!
Interesting. The vanity in me wonders how many of my message board posts, web pages, epinion reviews, etc., have been digested by this computer. My god - it's full of ME!
@BrandonLive: ...and XXX movies are marital aids! Come on - the universally accepted and understood definition for CRTL-ALT-DELETE is dumping something that has shitted out! I dont care if it used for all sorts of other stuff - the bottom line is that these buttons are there because this tablet is going to freeze up a…
dedicated CTRL-ALT-DEL button!??! That screams 'this will crash all the time' to me.
