That is truly sweet. I think there are a lot of us of a "certain age" that were in love with her.

Being 60, I have been watching her performances since the DvDS. Time passes, people die…some live on through their work. Mary will never really leave us.
Is he Derek's father or uncle?
Oh noooooooo!!!!
thanks! I totally missed it!
Change of subject…
Brilliant ending to a brilliant show!
Old? O'Keefe is forever associated with Caddy Shack and Christine for me!
Three episodes in and I cant believe Audrey hasnt looked into where Pete has been (well, where the real Pete actually is!). She seems pretty sharp and cunning. Not only would she have direct access to criminal records, her other grandson is a cop!
I saw Jean Brodie when it came out in theaters. I was 12 or 13…parens thought it was your typical British costume drama. Pamela Franklin was the first naked woman I ever saw. Zowie indeed.
Wow…what next? Robotic cops?
Or the Seinfeld base line at the end that one scene.
I liked his light saber skewering a crewman and through the door, then slicing the door as it opened. Nice touch. You could almost smell the roasted pork…
I lived in Santa Clarita for many years. There WERE rumors of cannibalism and ritual killings, nearly all of them attributed to students and/or faculty at CalArts (my brother, CA animation class of 79, refuses to discuss any aspect of this topic), but I think these date back to the early settlers of the first housing…
I'll be in my hammock…
Absolutely LOVE this show!! This episode was chock full of goodness.
Isn't this shit over and done with yet?
Nope. I've had to explain it's position in the timeline several times already.
Growing up in the late sixties and into the seventies, Mr Weaver was a very common sight on TV. All the series mentioned above, plus many "movies of the week" and other mini-series. RIP sir, thank you for your excellent work.
Curious: did he speak his lines phonetically? The first time I saw him was in Frankenheimer's Grand Prix when I was a kid (no idea who he was then). I learned later that Mifune didnt speak much English at the time.
