Your girlfriend sounds like a real winner.
Nope.
If Ray Rice believes that played a role here, he should have retired immediately and sought treatment. He didn't, so...
Your grandfather was an abusive fuckhole. Sorry to have to be the one to tell you.
Some things are absolute.
A mistake is leaving the faucet running, you dolt. Viciously attacking another person is not a "mistake."
True. I do not know if Ray Rice has ever abused anyone else and I don't know that he will. Statistically, though? It's pretty likely.
I doubt a mongo like yourself has considered much at all.
Good to know. Fuck off.
I don't need one. Mine is the best option we have.
Share an aside that has fuck-all to do with the situation at hand and I'll appreciate it.

What the fuck does this have to do with the circumstances of the Ray Rice case?
So what's your alternative?
If you hit your wife/girlfriend/anyone you know and claim to care about in any mental/intoxication state, you're a woman-beater.
These guys ARE different than us and you saying otherwise makes me question how similar WE are.
That is Roger Goodell's idea of "taking a stand" on an issue the NFL has no place is addressing outside of fairly and justifiably disciplining a player who has been guilty of a crime related to that issue.
You hit the nail on the head with regards to what I also fear, personally, about those who seek to normalize this as just "a thing that happened."
