It’s been 14 years since my Mom’s passing, and 9 since my wife’s first Mother’s day... And I still make mistakes. In the end, all you can do is realize that it’s their day too.

My mother passed away 14 years ago. There are 4 days a year where my undiagnosed depression flare up. Her Birthday, My Birthday, The day she Died, and Mother’s day. And you’d think the first three would be the ones that really did me in, but no it’s mother’s day.

tagging people is wonky - sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes they require the @ sometimes they don’t.

I’m at the point where if I really need to tag a person I just use the “I’m with” feature - yeah its not “true” but at least it tags them.

ah - I work in financial software and we’ve been asked not to use Opera due to the recent buy out by a government owned chinese company. (they claim it’s a hacking security risk)
