So not 100% incorrect, but point taken. There are a few people who need it, like people who work construction or live on top of a mountain.

Fair point, but there are ways around that. If trying to turn, you can usually pull forward a bit or wait for the tall vehicle to go first. If driving, and you’re paying attention, you should be aware of the cars around you and able to tell where they are, even if you can’t see them in that moment.

Nobody needs AWD, they need winter tires. And I will never, ever understand wanting a higher seating position. From what I can tell, the average person feels safer sitting up high....for some reason. I feel much safer being low to the ground, and able to change directions quickly in case of an impending crash.

I think so, too. Kinda sounds like a turbocharged V8.

So, you’re fine with total strangers watching you walking around naked, picking your nose, masturbating, having diarrhea, or doing any number of things that you do in the privacy of your bedroom and bathroom? Without your knowledge?

I don’t know that this was the worst, but it was definitely the most stressful. A couple weeks ago, my city lost all power downtown after a big storm. Traffic lights were still out when I got off work at 5.

Oh man...take your pick.

Better =/= more fun. At least, not in this case.

I was lucky enough to drive a couple manual R8s when I was a valet. I only got to drive them down a few streets and up a parking garage to our lot, but they were incredible.

1. In NC (blue, where I live), the age of consent is 16. However, it’s only legal for 16-year-olds to have sex with other 16-to-18-year-olds. If someone 19+ has sex with someone else who is 16, it’s still considered statutory rape. This may apply to other blue states.

Shocking!

When I was a valet, we had a ~2013 (brand new at the time) A6 get stuck in our lane for over half an hour. Electronic e-brake was flashing, wouldn’t let us drive the car, and wouldn’t let us shut it off.

You’re both half right; it’s a Charger face with Juke eyebrows.

Personal opinion: the rest of the car is fine, but that face is hideous.

This might not be the best place to put it, but did y’all see this shit?

I like it because in manual mode, the shifting directions are aligned with the forces you feel while driving. Pull back to shift up while the acceleration is pulling you back, and push forward to shift down while the brakes are pushing you forward. It also holds gears.

Skrrrrrrrrrrrt!

That sounds just about perfect. Who needs a complicated infotainment system when we all already have one in our pockets?

That’d be a “no,” then.
