Nope, you’ve got it backwards. It does lower the center of gravity, but that means a smaller moment of inertia around the tilting axis.

So, depends on how many Benellis get sold. If SSR is any indication, they might do well! I see a whole lot of SSR scooters and pit bikes around here. Will they be sharing dealers?
You can’t go wrong with an SV.
Don’t know how much aftermarket support there is for Benellis, but I bet an exhaust would help. I replaced the dual undertail on my Speed Triple with a single low-mount, and while it only knocked off ~25lb, all that weight was up high. It leans over much easier than it did stock.
GM isn’t doing too bad under her, either. I’m not a fan of how their older stuff drives, but the newer Camaros, C7, and Cadillacs all feel great. Their electric stuff is pretty cool, too.
Dude. It’s a hunk of metal, rubber, and plastic. A special one, but if anything it deserves to be modified and driven, not locked away like a piece of jewelry. Also, comparing reversible modifications to raw sewage is silly as fuck.
Counterpoint: why does it deserve anything? At the end of the day, it’s just a hunk of metal, rubber, and plastic.
If you want to keep stock gearing and improve top end, I’ve heard an 885 head swap (the head from the 325i motor) will breathe more freely, let you rev to ~7k, and get a huge power bump.
Was it a 325i, or a 325e? The “i” version of the motor revs a lot higher and has about 50 more horsepower (if I remember correctly). It makes a big difference!
Man, you buried a whole comment thread because I called you out on your negativity?
Just ignore the negativity man, some people would rather shit on others than focus on pursuing their own passions.
Still sad that you think this is a bad take, an article about driving two reknown drivers’ cars.
Censorship is fun, huh?
I’ve seen these on a modified Wrangler before, awesome!
It just makes me sad that you felt the need to put down this article. In such a silly way, too... “bad take?” He drove some cars, enjoyed the experience, and wrote about it. You might not like the car, but then why are you here?
Pretty strange that you keep deleting my replies. If you can’t appreciate an article about driving a couple of cool cars, why comment?
Wow, you deleted my reply? You must be real salty about how awesome this guy’s car is.
Matt, if you happen to read this...more of this, please!! I love the stuff y’all do at TST, and this was my favorite video in recent memory. Made me sad the one with Thad and Tim wasn’t longer.
