Not everyone, but I think a few of them would, and I think the overall trend would be to text less. A car isn’t terrifying compared to a crossover, but the average person seems to feel safe riding high in a bigger vehicle. I’d rather everyone felt a little less safe and had more motivation to avoid crashes.

This is purely my opinion, but I think buying less SUVs would help massively. Not only are you less likely to die if you are hit by a car, but it seems like people who drive cars are less likely to be distracted. One of the top reasons people buy SUVs is to feel safer. The safer you feel, the less motivation you have…

Don’t forget the commercials that say “don’t worry, your car will save you! No need to pay attention anymore.”

I’d like to think if it actually existed, it would have the Miata drivetrain as well as the face. I love Mazda3s, but I wish there were more RWD hatchbacks out there!
