No, it’s still just as fast. Modern cars have just gotten faster.

How can’t we be men anymore, exactly?
That sounds like a great drive, drugs or no drugs.
Maybe they were thinking of carpenter bees? Look very similar to bumble bees, but with a shiny abdomen. The males do not have stingers. Females do, but they’re not very aggressive.
If it was just the CV I’d say fix it, but good point about rust. He does live up north, and if it’s too bad that would be a deal breaker.
I mean...my DD has 217k miles, has always been parked outside, has been beat to shit, and still runs great.
Yeah, 135k is relatively low. To be fair, old Volkswagons tend to be a lot less reliable than the average car.
That is very, very true. Having a clean car makes it seem much younger than it actually is.
WHAT. Everyone’s different, I suppose, but I would be proud to drive an E90 wagon till the wheels fell off.
Seriously. I can understand wanting to replace the car if it’s unreliable, but what the hell is “embarrassing” or “unsafe” about an early 2000s VW?
Hilariously dumb. How did you respond? “Oh wow, mine only does 160! How much faster are these real bikes?”
Hey, average BRZ86 owner: ever heard of tight curvy roads? Or the aftermarket?
Apparently BRZ86 owners have never heard of curvy roads. I’m guessing the ones that have don’t complain about power.
Part-time Camry driver here. Flash to pass works occasionally, but only if the driver in front actually notices and isn’t buried in their phone...which is most of the time.
Old Mini or BMW Mini? Just curious, both are great.
Scooties?
That last one is fucking ridiculous and I love it. Is there a tiny front wheel hidden behind that intercooler, or do you just wheelie everywhere?
Thru-axles aren’t a problem, my Yakima mount holds the whole bike. No taking the front wheel off. If you don’t have the room though, I guess it’s a moot point.
You’re not going to accomplish anything here except make yourself mad, so why don’t you save some time and go play outside?
