@dajmeister: Download the Tasker application from the Market and you can set up custom notifications and tasks that use the coloured trackball. I love my custom colours - lets me know specifically what I have waiting for me in my status bar without using my phone.

@buff_man: I had an iPhone for 2 years and my biggest fear moving to Android was losing the iPod functionality.. I got my Nexus One, and was surprised that *gasp* there are other ways to play music on a mobile device than the Apple way.

I'm guessing a phone. The black 'plastic' look at the top (in the photo, the bottom) is the same type of antenna diaper as the first gen iPhone and HTC Legend. The back is probably painted aluminum.
