I didn’t watch the show. But if the extent of his “bothsidesing” boils down to this: “The host rightly calls out both parties for their inaction on immigration, an unsolvable issue so ingrained in American politics that Republicans won’t even sign the immigration bill [a bill Democrats crafted and which Trump

They really missed out , as The Death of Stalin is one of the best films ever made.Although yeah , its not suprising .

Shh, it’s a delightful typo.

NATO’s teat, not tea.

it’s a clear sign that American audiences just love stories about white saviors ingratiating themselves into an indigenous culture and then deciding that they are actually that culture’s messiah’

Congrats you ignorant fucking morons completely missed the point of the film, which went a step further than the

Listen you might not know this but Gen Z, through Tik Tok, was the first generation to ever speak about things like the “white savior” myth. How could a white man in the 60s ever think of such a thing?!

Yeah. Hell the movie made it even clearer than the original book.

They’re not indigenous or one race even. The film clearly shows this white savior is a dangerous, destructive, person.

It’s always funny when an ostensible “snarky pop culture writer” lacks the media literacy to even mock a movie effectively.

I think some of what’s happened is economic — the sites that cover pop culture, film, and television have collapsed, and are either gone or barely limping by. That’s certainly what’s happened at the AV Club.

About half the site’s content now is based entirely on whether we are supposed to love or hate a celebrity.

Yeah. About half the site’s content now is based entirely on whether we are supposed to love or hate a celebrity. If we’re supposed to love the celebrity, then Hollywood should give them absolutely everything. If we’re supposed to hate a celebrity, then it’s terrible that they are doing any work at all.

They’re not really saying no to Michelle Yeoh, they’re saying no to more The Brothers Sun, which was.. fine.

Is this an article that’s been sitting there on someones desk for a few months cause season 7 finished up back in December last year did it not? 10 episodes have been released just like previous seasons numbers.

Right?? I was thinking the whole time “they cannot kill this guy quickly and painfully enough”.

Wait, so the scenery-chewing he did in the finished movie was after he toned it down!?

He was absolutely awful in that film, and not in a good way. The accent, acting... dreadful.

Wait - I thought the most recent season ended a few months back. Was it only a half-season?

I’m already disappointed the movie isn’t actually titled “The Crow: Sobbing Nipple of Justice.

The last couple seasons have been better, that’s for sure.
