Were there no Israel, there’s not a Jew in the world [that would] be safe,”

Milly, remember what I said about not being a useful idiot in the other post?

Or any reason to believe they would elect any Hamas leaders.

Ah the rape story that has been reported by Israeli journalists as overblown. While some did happen it was few and far between to just a few actual occurrences. Much like the “killings” attributed to Hamas in that attack that once again through israeli journalists was found to be mostly from fire from Israeli forces.

JFC hey did not elect Hamas. One election nearly 20 years ago and Israel has not allowed elections since. The organization is not the same as it was and very few of the current population were even old enough to have voted back then.

The thing is, for those with memories longer than 5 seconds, they remember *why* the Arab neighboring countries don’t want Palestinians.

Anthony Bourdain did something similar on his show. Bring people from both sides together for a meal. To help see the other people as just that people, but the INSTANT religion was brought up, it all went to shit.

“[R]easonable minded people can think of a solution in 5 minutes”

I’m pretty sure their plan is to push everyone in Gaza into the Sinai so they either force the Egyptians to take them in or kill them.

Yeah the settlers who stole that land fair and square are just gonna, what, leave?  They’re gonna leave land that they literally think is theirs by right of divine edict?  That’s magical thinking right there.

and a free Palestinian state

Well, duh. We knew there was a ‘but’ on this solution or this problem would have been solved IRL by now. Another ‘but’ is people like Netanyahu who have specifically ruled out a(ny) 2 state solution like Jon’s.

Love going to the News section of this website and reading such breaking stories as “TV show has another episode”

“The Arab countries who claim Palestine as their top priority come in and form a demilitarized zone between Israel and a free Palestinian state.”

Gerwig described Barbieland, as it’s presented in the first act, as a “dystopia.” It’s supposed to be sheer hell. That’s what the movie is about. Herzog understood the movie’s themes and had a visceral reaction — the first act takes place almost entirely within Barbieland, which is an apartheid state where all men are

“I’ve seen it on the set and it is heartbreaking. It is heartbreakingly beautiful... It’s a phenomenal technical achievement.

Headline:

Invincible, the 2006 Mark Wahlberg movie about the real-life NFL player Vince Papale, a 30-year-old substitute teacher and part-time bartender who earned a spot on the Philadelphia Eagles at a 1976 public tryout after not having played organized football since high school, I imagine.

Invincible? The animated show about ultraviolent superheroes? It’s unclear to me what part of this Powell/Manning thing is like that at all.
