@Ipomoea: Definitely second the anti-chafe gel, which is agodsend in hot weather when you don't want to wear leggings. Have you considered maxi dresses? They are usually very forgiving and skim over most things you want to hide.

@banh mi: You could also try What You Wear Can Change Your Life from the UK hosts of "What Not to Wear," Trinny and Susannah. I found it really helpful, especially in terms of what colors work for different skin tones. There's also an InStyle guide book, and their outfits in the magazine are usually spot on.

@Holly Brown: Banana Republic has good stuff too, especially work-appropriate pieces and suits, and they always have some sort of sale going on top of markdowns. Also, contrary to popular opinion, H&M does make decent quality work stuff, and I have pieces from years ago still in great condition.

@Ipomoea: Kenneth Cole shoes with the new 925 technology are a godsend. Multiple heel heights (flat, kitten, 3 inch +) and a variety of styles to boot. Colors are a bit limited, but if you need basics, they are great and will last forever.

@MissBuckyC: Oh lord, it took me until this comment to realize she's modeling for Pringle of Scotland, not the chips. D'oh!

Haven't seen the show because I'm in the UK, and will watch the clips at home. From the comments, it seems like it's a rehash of any American celeb who goes to India and goes "OMG so puurrtty! Oh the colorzz!" without really examining the thousands of years of history behind what's considered beauty in the

Absolutely unbelievable. What kind of consensual sex leads to breast implants being ruptured and pectoral muscles being torn. It's the torn muscles that made my jaw drop. This too when she was ostensibly unconscious and probably unable to defend herself, so not like she pushing those beasts off her. Mind is boggled.

@RiotGrrrl: Well I mean Robert Palmer had a song about it, so it must be true.

@CherriSpryte: Almay eye makeup remover pads all the way, BUT let them sort of sit on your eyelids for about a minute before commencing rubbing. Oil of Olay's wipes are also really good and get a lot of the make up off, but I don't think anything ever gets all traces of make up off. I'm of the

@LadyTudorRose: If you're close to a Sephora, try Illamasqua's range. They've got everything from geisha pale to almost coal black, so it's worth a shot. They'll also give you as many samples as you want, most of which will last for about a week.

@polypam: If you've got some money to spend, Laura Mercier and Smashbox primers are generally the best ones. If you're on a drugstore budget, Almay's primer is pretty good, and it has some extra moisturizing properties. Just let the primer sit for a couple of minutes before applying foundation.

@lollapulizer: Just wash them with good ol' soap and warm water. It might take a few rinse/repeats, but that's usually best. Set the brushes so that the bristles sort of hang over the sink or an edge, and you're set.

@nancystender: Well said. Memo to the people who are "disgusted" by breastfeeding: breasts are, in fact, functional and designed to feed babies. Their sexual characteristics are secondary but have been portrayed as such so profusely that most people forgot the function over form.

@cate3710: That and a foundation with coverage power like Illamasqua's stuff.

@RenRen: "When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." - Ben Franklin

@RandomFrequentFlierDent: Definitely racism issues, which I was not happy about because the rest of the story is wonderful. The blatant association of who the humans were on Sauron's side, e.g., Chinese junk-looking ships and brown people riding elephants, put me off (and I suspect many others too). Sorry, but why

@Scout: LOL "shakti daayyy!!"

@kepster: That's what I want to know.

She has some killer legs. The quads alone would kick someone's ass.

@elliotellsworth: I had the same thought while watching an episode of "Being Human" on the BBC. Werewolves "turn" once a month, and women have their time of the month. Both can rip heads off. Coincidence?
