Yeah, had that happen to me working at Taco Bell. Most stereotypical thing ever: four Jamaicans in a VW bug, hotboxing. They even had copies of High Times on the seat. I had to go and sit down for a few minutes, because whatever they were smoking, it was strong.

I will not argue with a legitimate reason for changing or cancelling, but I will argue with a half-assed excuse for it. 90% of the time, we’re all too happy to cancel a room when something comes up. We’ll even bend the 24-hour policy all the way down to *3* hours.

The hotel I work for used to have horrible wifi. The connection we had was screaming fast... if we were a single-family home and not fifty rooms all wanting to download all the porn ever. Yeah. We were abysmally slow. Finally got upgraded after months of complaints.

I think they changed it so everyone has the stasis, not just those with the segment.

There’s a couple nuances you missed.

My sister did the bunny thing - a stuffed frog, actually - and every night there would be considerable effort to find it. We later found out that she was hiding him about an hour before bedtime so she wouldn’t have to go to bed...

Bike repair is an amazing thing. Most of the basic stuff is pretty simple, and can be done with regular tools. It’s things like replacing the crank that get tricky.
