I did not understand the point of inserting that graphic of an image into the episode at all. We get it, they are in a brothel. Previously, I had thought this show was doing a bit better when it came to gratuitous depictions and then this scene made me re-examine that. It was so out of left field.

Great piece, and agree that Spider-Man 2 is the best superhero movie ever made. There’s so much humanity in it that watching it in contrast to some of the MCU movies feels like they were made on different planets.
