Disagree with a few points, but yes to The Incredibles 2. And DOFP. I just do not understand the love that movie gets.

What now? Fast and Furious 6 is on the list but Furious 7 isn’t? What the hell kind of idiocy is that? Fast Five was awesome, F&F6 was ok, and Furious 7 is hugely beloved as a tribute to Paul Walker.

Incredibles 2 is the one I disagree with most here in a list. A massive let down after the incredible(?) first film. The rest... yeah Maverick and Fury Road deseve to be here

If there was some Fibonacci method of making a slideshow of all the best slideshows, I would stand and applaud. But you’ve decided on some odd choices when fellating Hollywood yet again.

Put a pin in it. I think AVClub is done now. Yikes.

Wasn’t FF6 the one with the 80mph chase down a runway that lasted 30 minutes?

I don’t mind insights about some, even many, beats of the episode’s plot. But when they just do a multi-paragraph recap, I’d rather read a summary.

This review reminded me of the text-box you see on a lot of Wikipedia articles: “This section may be overly detailed.” Listing every beat of the episode’s plot one after the other gets tiring to read, and aside from saying that Bella Ramsey is “credibly American” I have almost no sense of whether the acting is good

I wanna see Sam Raimi involved with an RE adaptation. I think he’d nail the right mix of horror, action, and goofiness.

Hold on, TV shows can get renewed still??

I’ll play the devil’s advocate.

a dolly allegedly hit and killed a homing pigeon—which, like all pigeons, are apparently a protected species in Italy

Michael is a common first name. Jackson is a common surname. I actually didn’t realize that this article meant the Michael Jackson. It was actually the word “late” that tipped me off. So screw you I guess some of us are stupid.

And yet somehow John Woo still walks free.

The Italians failed to take into account one thing: anything hitting anything on a Bay movie set explodes into a massive fireball.

In the writer’s defense, I believe it is obligatory for everyone involved in the Golden Globes in any capacity to be rip-roaring drunk. This includes online re-cappers.

Angela Basset won Best Supporting Actor

Dishonored as an anime...after the success of Arcane. They could probably use the same assets. They both share similar aesthetics/oil painting look.

When you have no ideas it’s ok to steal from an infinitely more interesting franchise.
