Roman was obviously desperate, but I saw him appealing to her at least much as a former co-conspirator and strategic partner as a quasi-lover (and I note this season, Gerri had really kept it to the former).

It was laughable to see Roman look to Gerri for last-minute help... as if his harassment of her had somehow “earned him” favor with her. He’s truly vile.

Ehh, to me it’s not that the show doesn’t offer big moments; it’s that in each season it feels like there’s a storyline about how the company is on the precipice of being bought or “taken down”… that gets resolved without fanfare and on at least one occasion completely off-screen. For me, it ruins the momentum and

Hahaha if you think Hook is bad I don’t think you’ve ever seen Ready Player One or the last Indiana Jones movie.  You’re gonna want to watch ALL of his movies before you call Hook the worst one.

Tom’s actions are the perfect microcosm of how entrenched power remains entrenched. “I’ve never seen Logan get fucked”, Tom says...but the reason he doesn’t get fucked is that people like Tom are so convinced of his un-fuckability that they grovel at his feet to prevent it when it is barreling straight towards him.

So you’re saying because I have an opinion about something I watched— that I shouldn’t watch it. Right? Tell me how that works. Is it like time travel or something?

The Lost World opens with a scene where two rich parents stumble onto the sight of their little girl getting devoured alive by tiny lizard imps, and it closes with a T-rex rampaging through San Diego and sending one of those 76 balls rolling down the street. It’s pretty solid in between too.

No, Hook is one of his underrated classics that must be seen to be appreciated.

This clickbait article doesn’t even mention The Lost World or Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Lost World wasn’t bad. It wasn’t great, and I was quite disappointed at how much it differed from the book, which I had read just before watching it. But it’s got some pretty fun scenes (and a few awful ones). Plus it’s hard to fail completely when you’ve got yourself a Goldblum. (mraawr har harrrw)

Is Hook Steven Spielberg’s worst movie, or just his most excessive?

Tintin is an underrated classic.

Hook is his worst movie if you discount all of his other worst ones, like Indiana Jones 4

They are dormant. But they will appear.

Now playing

At around 1:48 there’s a flute solo here that is easily one of my top 5 tunes that John Williams ever wrote (and knowing his career, that’s saying something), but this whole track is just magic. Dare I say, better than the movie deserved.

Ugh, that headline. It’s not Snyder’s cut of The Justice League. It’s damn near a completely different movie. There never was a Snyder cut. Such a dumb sticking point to land on, but c’mon, words mean things

I’m not getting fucking high to make a four hour turd good.  What am I, made of weed money?

It’s funny how The Eternals shows how visually dynamic a Speedster could be even if Makari was undeserved by the story, whereas the Flash’s first major scene in this movie (rescuing Iris) is based more around extending what should be a two minute super speed scene into what felt like 20+ minutes via slow-mo because

My big issue is that the scene with Barry saving Iris leans way too heavily on our knowledge of them as a major couple in the comics. Considering they haven’t even met at this point, Barry’s lingering over her just feels creepy, and even raises the question of how many other times he’s taken advantage of his powers to
