Strangely, maybe ironically, perhaps inevitably, the movie has split audiences. Personally, I think it’s shockingly bad, considering how much it was hyped, but I’ve seen people say they really liked it.

Now do the same list without the R rating.

Nobody looks at the performance of their ginormous superhero movie or mega-expensive rom-com musical and says, “Whew, well, at least we won Wednesday night!”

Damnit. This actively makes me angry, but I’m glad she’s ok.

Mike Faist was a standout in the West Side Story remake. Been waiting to see him in more stuff.

Yes!

All I saw was that Russell Crowe would have been the better Kraven

The real star of The Flash, though, is director Andy Muschietti (2017’s It), whose set pieces, while sometimes over-reliant on glaring CGI, move with inventiveness, beginning with a witty opening sequence and continuing through the climax.

I half expected the news to reveal that the cameo was an A.I. creation. I think the movie is quite bad, and I’d pretty much checked out by that point anyway, but not using Grant Gustin when they had the prime excuse to, does seem like a weird oversight.

Everytime I think there’s one thing they need to nail above all else, I remember something else that matters just as much. Sounds like Sokka would thrive in modern America

Midnight Suns came out last year. We know why Hogwarts Legacy was ignored, but it really shouldn’t be. The combat is fun, it’s filled with crazy details, neat Easter eggs, and loads of potential moving forward. The Potter world is brought to life a lot better than expected.

If their names weren’t attached, would this look like a dozen other big sci-fi shows trying to get attention?

I can’t claim D&D didn’t pander at the end, when they dedicated a significant amount of screentime to “Clegane-Bowl” just for the fans. It didn’t matter to anything important I didn’t understand the need for this at all.

who’s spent years putting together his Flash movie

Technically, most of the stuff on this list is lazy, though. Even if some end up becoming popular decisions.

Repeating Col. Miles in Avatar 2, instead of having a new villain was a criticism of mine. I didn’t want to bring Neo back for Matrix 4, but there was no stopping it. Same with Agent Coulson, which I feel undermines the first Avengers a little. I rolled my eyes when I heard one of the cartoons brought back a sliced-in-

The Mandalorian is a “Strong Contender” but Beef can kick rocks?

Beef got surprisingly profound, and I’m still thinking about it after all this time. And I was really impressed with how Vox Machina was able to level up, so to speak. It’s a lot better than it was.
